Job description

3 MONTH INTERNSHIP | FULL-TIME | PAID

The Sales Development Representative is a perfect fit for a college Senior, or recent graduateย looking for an exceptional sales experienceย in a fast-paced environment,ย that will help them build critical skills for their future career.

The successful candidate would describe themselves as an energetic and highly-motivatedย individual, who approaches a busy day withย an inherent sense of organization. We work closely as a team, so this role requires someone who is innatelyย collaborative, positiveย and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for inbound leads, working to qualify and book / manage loads
  • Prospect carriers and book loads
  • Work cross-functionally to drive success and solve challenges
  • Track all sales activity in CRM
  • Demonstrate (taught) freight and logistics expertise to drive customer trust

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher (or soon to complete)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly-motivated to overachieve targets
  • Some sales experience with transferable skills, and a passion for developing to become a highly-successfulย sales professional
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to work onsite at our Austin HQ

Our Sales Internship Program gives youย aย running jump into the job market after graduation, through learning and practicing valuable and transferable skills that will help youย stand out from the crowd.

Over the 3 months,ย you willย develop your sales and overall business skillset, contribute directly to the success of our sales organization, and learn directly from our leadership team on how to build and grow a consistently profitable business.

We alsoย focus onย broader business acumen themesย such asย cross-functional partnership,ย account management, and time managementย to help you be aย strong and reliable business professional.
