Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Recruiter to support recruiting operations in Odessa, Texas. This contract position focuses on keeping hiring activities organized through accurate data management, interview coordination, reporting, and administrative support for the HR team. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel capabilities, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain accurate recruitment records by entering applicant and hiring data into spreadsheets, tracking tools, and HR systems.
โ€ข Coordinate interview scheduling by working closely with candidates, hiring managers, and internal team members to keep the process moving efficiently.
โ€ข Prepare, update, and organize recruiting reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets that help the team monitor hiring activity and key performance indicators.
โ€ข Support job posting activity by assisting with requisition setup and helping ensure open positions are published correctly.
โ€ข Assist with candidate screening tasks by gathering preliminary information, documenting interactions, and helping route suitable talent through the hiring process.
โ€ข Provide administrative support for onboarding documentation, including recordkeeping and coordination of pre-employment screening steps.
โ€ข Help manage communication and documentation related to staffing agencies and other recruiting partners.
โ€ข Participate in hiring events such as career fairs by assisting with logistics, event setup, and on-site support when needed.โ€ข 1-3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting support, or administrative coordination; prior recruiting exposure is preferred.
โ€ข Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create reports, maintain trackers, and work accurately with high-volume data.
โ€ข Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
โ€ข Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative approach.
โ€ข High level of discretion, sound judgment, and commitment to handling sensitive information confidentially.
โ€ข Ability to work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with flexibility for additional hours when business needs require it.
