Virtual Support Agent

Join ECS as a Virtual Customer Support Agent. ECS Virtual Support Agents choose from a number of clients to provide support for customers from the comfort of their homes. Levels of support include: coordinating roadside assistance for stranded motorists, assisting customers navigating tax company's websites, assisting individuals to schedule medical appointments just to name a few. ECS agents are true professionals with relatable personalities providing world-class customer service. If you are looking for a growing, family-oriented, professional company, then ECS is the place for you. With the appropriate computer setup, we can offer you flexible hours with 100% autonomy.

Full-time base pay for ECS agents is $10/hour for 40 hours or more per week. Part-time pay is $8/hour part-time for 25 - 39 hours per week (willingness to commit to 25 hours or more per week). ECS also includes bonuses and incentives based on hours worked. All hours/shifts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. Earnings potential is $23,000 over $40,000 per year. The ECS family is expanding rapidly and we promote from within! If you are committed, reliable and offer great customer support. We are excited to offer you more growth opportunities as they become available. This is an independent contractor 1099 position. We need to hire 650 agents in the month of September.

Responsibilities
  1. Participating in training and certification courses
  2. Providing excellent customer service by guiding and helping others with a friendly attitude
  3. Using your home computer to answer inbound phone calls, video calls, and/or live chats
  4. Committing to and following through on working a minimum of 25 hours per week
  5. Being accountable for hours you committed to work
Qualifications

Standard Requirements

  • Customer experience preferred but not required. Must have excellent communication skills and positive attitude
  • Must have a quiet, dedicated work space with a desktop or laptop, headset and reliable wired high-speed internet connection
  • Must demonstrate professionalism with excellent typing, communication and computer skills
  • Must be skilled in spelling and grammar rules
  • Must be willing to submit to standard background check, drug test, technology check and voice assessment
  • Must be willing to work hard and strive for high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Must be articulate with excellent command of the English language
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must reside in the US
  • Not eligible to residents of California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon or Wisconsin
  • Access to smart phone for system verification required
