As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Case Manager, you'll provide care to client employees in an onsite airport our Health Center located in Atlanta, GA.
  • Consistent daytime schedule with flexibility - Enjoy work-life balance with daytime hours (8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM) and your choice of schedules (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday).
  • Dynamic, fast-paced environment - Thrive in a high-energy airport clinic setting where no two days are the same, managing meaningful casework and supporting employee health for a major airline workforce.
  • Make an impact through case management - Play a vital role in coordinating care by managing 60-70 active cases, following up with patients, providers, and insurance carriers to ensure timely treatment and recovery.
  • Grow your occupational health expertise - Build on your RN experience with exposure to occupational health, workers' compensation, OSHA documentation, and return-to-work coordination in a specialized setting.
  • Collaborative and technology-driven workplace - Work alongside a strong care team while utilizing multiple systems and tools like Excel, Teams, and OHM to streamline documentation, communication, and case management.

Essential Functions:
  • Assesses the coordination and access to needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, and other services essential for meeting the health needs of the individual
  • Coordinates assessment, treatment planning, and return to work processes with the employee, providers, and employer
  • Assesses and evaluates cases and prepares and implements treatment and case management plans.
  • Counsels clients, assisting them to identify and resolve problems and make effective use of resources
  • Maintains collaborative working relationships with other community providers to develop specialized services as required.
  • May perform duties telephonically as well as conducting on-site visits.
  • Acts as liaison between client employees, providers, and agency or institution
  • Assists clients in finding ways of adjusting to changes in physical capabilities that will allow for a life/work style as comfortable as the situation will permit.
  • Provides consultation to staff on specific cases.
  • Prepares and maintains written case records, reports, and forms, performs case follow-up and closing, and performs other administrative tasks as required.
  • May require other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
  • Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Certification in Emergency Nursing, or Certificate in Case Management preferred.

Experience:
  • At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic.
