Job description

Patients Archive LLC is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to support patients through a technology-enabled telehealth environment. The successful candidate will provide professional, patient-centered care within the scope of their license and applicable state and federal requirements.

This role is designed for a healthcare professional who is comfortable communicating with patients virtually, documenting clinical encounters accurately, and working within established clinical protocols.

Position Summary

The Telehealth Nurse Practitioner / Registered Nurse will interact with patients through secure telehealth platforms, conduct appropriate clinical assessments within their scope of practice, provide patient education, document encounters, and coordinate follow-up care when appropriate.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, clear communication, professional documentation, and the ability to provide a high-quality patient experience in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct telehealth patient interactions in accordance with professional licensure, applicable laws, and company clinical protocols.
  • Obtain and document relevant patient history and information during virtual encounters.
  • Assess patient needs and identify situations requiring escalation, referral, or in-person evaluation.
  • Provide appropriate patient education regarding health conditions, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up.
  • For Nurse Practitioners: evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans within the applicable scope of practice and state requirements.
  • For Registered Nurses: provide nursing assessment, education, care coordination, and other services permitted by the applicable nursing license and clinical protocols.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic health records and clinical documentation.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and members of the healthcare team.
  • Follow privacy, security, documentation, quality, and patient-safety requirements.
  • Recognize urgent or potentially emergent situations and follow established escalation and referral procedures.
  • Coordinate appropriate follow-up care when clinically indicated.
  • Participate in quality-improvement activities, training, and updates to clinical workflows as required.
  • Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and other credentials required for the position.
Required Qualifications Nurse Practitioner applicants
  • Current, unrestricted Nurse/ Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state(s).
  • Current national board certification appropriate to the NP specialty, where required.
  • Prescriptive authority where required for the duties of the position.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification, if required by the applicable clinical program.
  • Ability to provide telehealth services in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records and telehealth technology preferred.
Registered Nurse applicants
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the applicable state(s).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification, if required for the position.
  • Ability to provide telehealth nursing services within the scope of the applicable nursing license.
  • Strong patient communication, assessment, documentation, and care-coordination skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records and telehealth technology preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous telehealth or virtual-care experience.
  • Experience working with electronic health records.
  • Experience providing patient education remotely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
