  • Advise first- and second-year students on course selection, Trinity curriculum requirements, and major exploration
  • Explain academic policies, degree timelines, grading options, and institutional regulations
  • Monitor academic progress and maintain detailed, confidential advising records
  • Support students through academic transitions or difficulties and refer them to relevant campus resources
  • Provide inclusive, developmentally appropriate support for diverse student populations
  • Support quad-based orientation sessions, academic workshops, and community-building events
  • Collaborate with faculty-in-residence, peer mentors, and faculty fellows on quad programming
  • May teach a 0.5-credit first-year seminar or reflective advising course
  • Coordinate advising and support with Academic Deans, Senior Quad Advisors, and campus offices
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional training
  • Share insights and trends with advising leadership to improve the advising model
  • Participate in professional development and advising-related training
  • Contribute to assessment efforts, surveys, and feedback collection
  • Stay informed about university policies, academic programs, and student support initiatives
