Job description

About The Position:

Letโ€™s Get Ready is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven, and execution-focused Vice President of Development to lead and evolve the organizationโ€™s fundraising function. This senior leader will be responsible for setting and executing a comprehensive development strategy that fuels LGRโ€™s continued growth, strengthens existing funding streams, and builds a diversified, sustainable revenue pipeline.

ย

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role oversees all aspects of fundraising, including strategy development, donor cultivation, impact storytelling, campaign execution, and team leadership. The Vice President will play a critical role in aligning fundraising efforts with organizational priorities, clearly articulating LGRโ€™s impact, and positioning the organization for long-term financial sustainability.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors, including individuals giving $25,000+ annually
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional funders and Board members
  • Develop and implement thoughtful stewardship strategies to deepen donor engagement and retention

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven culture
  • Represent LGR externally with credibility and passion
ย

This role is ideal for an experienced development leader who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and is energized by both strategy and execution. The successful candidate will bring:

ย
  • Bachelor's degree or higherย
  • A deep commitment to educational equity and LGRโ€™s mission
