Job Summary and Qualifications

The Division VP of Cardiovascular Services provides strategic and operational leadership for cardiovascular, pulmonary, and thoracic service lines across the South Atlantic Division. In partnership with hospital executives, physician leaders, and corporate service line leadership, the Division VP is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, quality outcomes, physician engagement, operational performance, financial stewardship, strategic growth, and service line integration and organizational performance across the division. The Division VP also serves as the operational and administrative leader for the Division Cardiovascular Governance structure in partnership with the Division CV Medical Director and Division Chief Medical Officer.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressively responsible leadership in cardiovascular service line management, hospital operations , physician practice operations, or healthcare strategy required; experience in leading multi-hospital initiatives preferred; experience collaborating with physicians and executive leadership required; knowledge of cardiovascular accreditation programs (ACC, STS, TJC, CMS) required; experience implementing clinical projects and working with cross-functional teams required
