Job description

Position Summary
The Vice President of Enterprise Intelligence & Data Platforms is responsible for the strategy, architecture, governance, and execution of Lifespark's enterprise data and intelligence platform.
This role leads the SparkIQ initiative and serves as the organization's senior leader for data architecture, data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and AI enablement. The Vice President partners closely with operational, clinical, financial, and executive leaders to transform enterprise data into actionable intelligence that improves decision-making, operational performance, growth, and outcomes.
The position is accountable for establishing and maintaining the enterprise data platform, semantic layer, governance framework, reporting strategy, and AI roadmap that support Lifespark's long-term vision.
Position Functions and Responsibilities
• Lead the strategic direction, roadmap, and execution of the SparkIQ platform.
• Establish enterprise standards for data architecture, integration, governance, analytics, and AI.
• Oversee data ingestion, modeling, semantic layer development, reporting, and intelligence delivery.
• Lead enterprise integration efforts across Athena, August Health, HCHB, ANI, UKG, Sage, and other strategic systems.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize enterprise reporting and analytics opportunities.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise KPI catalog and data governance framework.
• Ensure enterprise data quality, consistency, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform enhancements that improve scalability, usability, and long-term sustainability.
• Lead enterprise AI initiatives including natural language analytics, predictive modeling, intelligent workflows, and agent-based solutions.
• Establish standards for responsible AI use and governance.
• Collaborate with Informatics Analysts and operational leaders to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of architects, engineers, analysts, and intelligence professionals.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships supporting enterprise intelligence initiatives.
• Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Ten or more years of progressive leadership experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, enterprise architecture, or related disciplines.
• Experience designing and leading enterprise data platforms and analytics environments.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, integration strategies, semantic modeling, and business intelligence platforms.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Healthcare, senior living, post-acute care, payer, or value-based care experience.
• Experience with enterprise AI initiatives and advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare, Athena, August Health, HCHB, Aannie, UKG, Sage, Power BI, Snowflake, Fabric, AWS, or similar technologies.
