JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations across Universal Orlando Resort. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and ensuring the highest standards of service and quality. The SVP will lead a diverse team, drive innovation, and ensure profitability while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strategic Leadership & Innovation: Develop and implement a comprehensive food and beverage strategy aligned with the company's goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business growth and enhance guest satisfaction. Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new ideas to enhance the food and beverage offerings. Implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and guest experience.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage businesses, including restaurants, quick service, bars, vending, carts, catering, special events and shared services. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Financial Performance: Manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and implement cost control measures. Drive revenue growth through innovative promotions and efficient operations.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Address guest feedback and implement improvements.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in the theme park or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience leading large, diverse teams of all generations spanning from front line hourly to VP level talent.
