Director Food Service Role Overview
To manage the Food Service department through planning, forecasting and executing specific sales agendas.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Manages P&L of Food Service Department.
  • Manages Food Service employees and directs the sales team.
  • Manages/conducts sales calls and visits customers for sales, retention and contract negotiations.
  • Secures new customers to increase revenue, share, and profitability.
  • Conducts planning and forecasting activities.
  • Builds volume and marginal contribution (MC) in customer locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • An Associates Degree and ten (10) years of beverage sales with five (5) years of sales management experience, two (2) years of P&L management experience, and five (5) years of key account sales management to include customer development experience in a consumer products industry.
  • An MBA may be substituted for P&L experience.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and set priorities, strong presentation, oral and written communication skills. Analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills along with customer relations experience are necessary.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to direct and motivate others.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, UXT and SAP experience are preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for daily travel. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
