Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Global Vice President Marketing, Fertility, is a senior enterprise leadership role responsible for global marketing and Product Management for CooperSurgical Fertility Solutions. This position owns the end-to-end product and portfolio strategy, leading both upstream and downstream marketing across a complex global portfolio serving B2B and B2C customer segments, including clinics, labs, distributors, and patient-facing demand creation.
This role has direct leadership responsibility for a global team of Product Managers and marketing leaders, with accountability for portfolio prioritization, lifecycle management, commercialization, and P&L impact. The Global VP partners closely with R&D, Medical Affairs, Sales, Commercial Operations, and regional leaders, with clearly defined decision rights to translate market insights into differentiated strategies, profitable growth, and sustained brand leadership.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive global marketing strategies for our diverse product and service portfolio.
  • Directly leads, develops, and mentors a global team of Product Managers, establishing best-in-class Product Management capabilities across the organization.
  • Develop and implement differentiated positioning and communication strategies for CooperSurgical Fertility Solutions, in collaboration with the SVP, Fertility Services, to ensure a cohesive overall positioning.
  • Oversee product portfolio lifecycle management, including positioning, to drive profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Manage budgets effectively, optimizing marketing spend to maximize ROI, and promote a culture of marketing efficiency and impact.
  • Foster close collaboration with commercial and functional partners to ensure marketing strategies align with overarching business objectives.
  • Drive marketing excellence in strategy development, product management, and communication efforts.
  • Assess market opportunities to facilitate effective product introductions and promote portfolio growth.
  • Build and cultivate a high-performing marketing team to execute strategies effectively.
  • Monitor key metrics and objectives to inform informed business planning.
  • Establish advertising and PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and promote both products and the company.

Experience:
  • 10+ years of successful experience in Medical/Pharmaceutical Marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a director role.
  • Proven global marketing expertise for complex product and service portfolios in industries such as MedTech, digital health, dental, consumer health, or fertility.
  • Track record of building strong brands and businesses, ideally in both B2B and B2C contexts.
  • Background in healthcare marketing is preferred, but experience in related industries is acceptable.
  • Experience in large companies with a deep understanding of global markets and dynamics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience in managing a team of marketing professionals for a minimum of five years.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree in marketing or business Administration is preferred.
