Job Description
NAS Recruitment is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to drive net new client acquisition and accelerate revenue growth. This is a pure hunter role focused on building pipeline, developing new relationships, and closing complex enterprise deals.
While this role carries a VP title to support executive-level access and credibility, it is an individual contributor (IC) position with no direct reports.
The ideal candidate brings experience selling into Talent Acquisition, HR, and Recruitment Marketing leaders, with a proven ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles and deliver net new revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development
  • Own net new client acquisition across target enterprise and mid-market accounts
  • Proactively build and manage a robust outbound pipeline through prospecting, networking, events, and strategic outreach
  • Identify, engage, and close new logo opportunities aligned to NAS solutions

Sales Execution
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting โ†’ qualification โ†’ solutioning โ†’ close
  • Navigate long, complex sales cycles (3-9+ months) involving multiple stakeholders
  • Lead discovery, present tailored solutions, and position NAS offerings to align with client business outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor on recruitment marketing, employer branding, and talent acquisition strategies
  • Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases

Market & Internal Collaboration
  • Provide insight on market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs
  • Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, delivery) to ensure strong solution alignment
  • Represent NAS through industry events, webinars, and thought leadership activities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 7-10+ years of experience in consultative, solution-based sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business quotas
  • Demonstrated success in long, complex sales cycles (3-9+ months)
  • Experience selling into HR, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing, or related buyers

Core Capabilities
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills
  • Ability to multi-thread deals across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Skilled in value-based and solution-oriented selling
