Vice President, Agency Partnerships - North America

Smartly is looking for a Vice President, North America Agency Partnerships to lead and grow our agency business across the region. In this role, you'll shape strategic partnerships with major agency holding companies, leading independent agencies, and emerging partners while driving adoption of Smartly's platform at scale. Working closely with the SVP, Global Agency Partnerships, you'll bring together cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes and strengthen one of Smartly's most important growth areas.

What You Will Do
  • Lead Smartly's North American agency business, owning growth, adoption, and expansion across a portfolio of strategic agency partners.
  • Develop and execute regional agency growth strategies aligned with global priorities and company objectives.
  • Build trusted executive relationships across agency organizations, positioning Smartly as a long-term strategic partner.
  • Drive agency adoption from initial engagement through scaled deployment by identifying barriers and coordinating resources to accelerate progress.
  • Partner with Agency Partners, Customer Success, Technical Account Managers, Product, Sales, and Agency Activation teams to align priorities and execute growth plans.
  • Create accountability across cross-functional teams, ensuring strategic initiatives move efficiently from planning through execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional agency partnerships team, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Own revenue growth across the agency portfolio by expanding Smartly's footprint across clients, teams, workflows, and product capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
  • Significant experience leading agency partnerships, enterprise sales, business development, or commercial leadership within adtech, martech, SaaS, media, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success growing complex strategic partnerships and delivering against revenue targets.
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that require alignment across multiple business functions.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with operational excellence and strategic thinking.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity while creating clarity, momentum, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with agency holding companies and leading independent agencies.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation, technology adoption, or change management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising, creative technology, media activation, or marketing technology ecosystems.

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus an quarterly target bonus based on revenue target attainment. We take into consideration an individual's background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary. In addition to annual salary, Smartly's total rewards provide employees with stock options, medical/dental/vision insurances, retirement savings benefits, parental leave, 5 weeks vacation, unlimited sick days, life insurance, and disability benefits. This information is provided in accordance with applicable law. Base pay information is based on market location.
