Job description

As a Volunteer at the Cincinnati VA Hospital you will assist with the following duties:

  • Transport patients to and from appointments (in-patient appointments) Patients may be ambulatory, in a wheelchair or on a stretcher.
  • Pick up prescription requests (inside VA hospital)
  • Take messages accurately and relay verbal messages accurately
  • Record messages on Escort Daily Log Sheets accurately
