Who will be served by this assignment? Disadvantaged individuals living in food deserts with accessible, healthy and affordable grocery options within walking distance to their homes.

What is the anticipated benefit of this volunteer service to those receiving the service? To track our number of customers served along with showing how repeat customers are improving their healthy grocery shopping habits

What specific skills will the volunteer need? Ability to speak and write English

Any additional instructions or information that would be helpful for volunteers? The markets are held at different apartment building throughout Akron. The volunteer would need transportation (all sites are in the bus line). Market times are Monday, Friday and every other Saturday from 1030am to 1pm.
