Job description

Payroll Specialist
Salary: $60,000–$70,000

Why This Opportunity Stands Out:

  • Join a globally backed, financially stable manufacturing company with major growth on the horizon—they just completed a new plant that brings production fully in-house, opening up strong internal advancement opportunities
  • Hybrid schedule and flexible hours for great work-life balance.
  • Open door policy and collaborative teams internally.

What You'll Do:

  • Own end-to-end payroll processing (bi-weekly) — wages, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings across multiple pay groups
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Reconcile payroll each cycle and partner with Accounting on GL entries and reporting
  • Manage payroll-related onboarding/offboarding — new hire setup, terminations, pay changes
  • Handle year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s and payroll tax filings
  • Administer employee benefits (health, dental, retirement, leave) and serve as the main point of contact for payroll/benefits questions

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working within payroll/HRIS systems

Benefits administration and manufacturing industry experience are a plus, but not required.
