Job description

Our team sets the standards for the Agriculture, Construction, and Lawn amp; Garden industries through our core values of dedication to Customer service, courage, continuous learning, ownership, and trust. Koenig is currently seeking a Lawn amp; Garden/Utility Set-up Technician to support the Dealership's Richmond, IN location.

Duties:

  • Set-up of new equipment and coordination of equipment for receipt and delivery.
  • Diagnostic work on equipment to verify needed repairs per estimate. Notify service manager if initial diagnosis is inaccurate.
  • Complete assigned work in accordance with the estimate and the schedule; attaining all quality and efficiency metrics.
  • Keep accurate times records by segment on worked performed.
  • Recommend additional service work to maximize machine productivity, reduce downtime, and add value for the customer.
  • Professionally advise customers when required.
  • Ensure billing of all parts and returning unused parts in a timely manner.
  • Submit work order detail to the Service Manager immediately upon the completion of each segment. Communicate is issues arise.
  • Help maintain company fixed assets as required.
  • Completion of assigned training in accordance with OEM amp; Koenig Learning Path.
  • Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Technician experience in comparable industry.
  • Basic knowledge of product line, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use our computer operating system (IntelliDealer).
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment needed for the job.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
