Your Role:

The Head of User Acquisition, Robotics owns top-of-funnel growth across paid, organic, and partnership channels for FF's Robotics business. Reporting to the UES Leader, this role is accountable for delivering qualified user volume, traffic, and leads at target CAC into every downstream sales channel – FF Par, Direct, Ecommerce, Content Commerce, MarCom, and Community. The role will architect a measurable, AI-augmented acquisition engine spanning performance media, SEO, app store and platform optimization, affiliate and creator partnerships, lifecycle email/SMS, and waitlist programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition Strategy:
    Define the Robotics user acquisition strategy and budget, aligning channel mix, CAC targets, and volume forecasts with the UES annual plan.
  • Performance Marketing:
    Own paid media across search, social, video, programmatic, and connected TV; build and optimize a measurement stack covering attribution, MMM, and incrementality.
  • SEO, ASO & Platform Optimization:
    Lead organic discovery strategy across Google, YouTube, Apple App Store, Google Play, and key Greater China platforms (e.g., Baidu, Xiaohongshu, Douyin search).
  • Partnership & Affiliate Acquisition:
    Build a partnership and affiliate program that brings Robotics into adjacent ecosystems (developer, creator, smart home, B2B integrators).
  • Waitlist & Pre-Order Programs:
    Architect waitlist, reservation, and pre-order programs that maximize conversion from interest to deposit to delivery.
  • Lifecycle & CRM Acquisition:
    Partner with the Head of User Operation to convert prospect data into active opportunities through email, SMS, push, and in-product messaging.
  • AI-Native Growth:
    Embed AI tooling across creative production, audience targeting, copy testing, and bid management to compound acquisition efficiency over time.
  • Cross-Channel Hand-Off:
    Define and instrument the hand-off SLAs and lead quality definitions between Acquisition and each downstream sales channel.
  • Measurement & Reporting:
    Operate a weekly growth review with a single source of truth for channel performance, CAC, conversion, and forecast accuracy.
  • Team Leadership:
    Build and lead a high-performing acquisition team across performance, SEO/ASO, partnerships, and analytics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    15+ years in user acquisition / growth marketing, with at least 5 years leading multi-channel acquisition teams at a senior level in consumer technology, smart hardware, or DTC brands.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Performance Track Record:
    Demonstrated ability to scale paid acquisition spend at or beyond USD $20M annually while improving CAC efficiency.
  • Analytics:
    Deep fluency in attribution, MMM, incrementality testing, and cohort-based LTV/CAC analysis.
  • Tooling:
    Hands-on with major ad platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube), MMP/attribution tools, and BI stacks (Looker, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Leadership:
    Track record building and developing growth teams of 10+ specialists.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience launching a high-consideration, high-ASP hardware or robotics product into market.
    • Working knowledge of Greater China acquisition platforms and creator ecosystems.
    • Experience integrating AI tools (creative generation, predictive bidding, audience modeling) into a production growth stack.
    • Background combining B2C and B2B / prosumer acquisition motions.

Salary Range:

($225,000-$260,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
