Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Anduril is seeking a relationship-driven and execution-focused University Engagement & Partnerships Specialist to grow and manage our campus presence across priority engineering institutions. In this role, you will execute university-facing initiatives that increase Anduril's visibility, credibility, and long-term technical talent pipeline.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day cultivation of deep relationships with student organizations, faculty, research labs, alumni networks, and university career centers. This role goes beyond traditional campus recruiting-it is about actively embedding Anduril into the technical fabric of the universities that matter most to our mission.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role that directly drives the strength and engagement of our early-career pipeline.
University Relationship Management
  • Execute university engagement plans aligned with Anduril's key hiring priorities (autonomy, embedded systems, robotics, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for target schools, student groups, faculty relationships, and competitions such as Baja and FSAE.
  • Represent Anduril as a trusted, long-term partner rather than a transactional campus recruiter.
  • Manage logistical planning and execution for a variety of campus events, including technical talks, design reviews, lab visits, hackathons, design competitions, and career fairs.
  • Facilitate outreach, scheduling, and communication with student organizations (i.e., robotics, SAE, UAV, AI), faculty members, research labs, and university career services departments.
  • Prepare and organize briefing materials, presentations, and promotional assets for university engagements, ensuring Anduril's brand is consistently and effectively represented.
  • Administer and track details of university partnership activities, including sponsorships, fellowships, and research collaborations, maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate cross-functional participation in campus activities, ensuring smooth involvement from engineering leaders, stakeholders, alumni, and recruiters.

Student Organization & Lab Engagement
  • Build and maintain active partnerships with engineering, robotics, SAE, UAV, space, AI, and cybersecurity student organizations.
  • Facilitate connections between technical student groups and Anduril's engineering teams for mentorship and collaboration.
  • Coordinate Anduril's sponsorship and participation in hackathons, design competitions, and technical showcases.

Event Coordination & Campus Activation
  • Plan and execute high-signal campus events (tech talks, design reviews, lab visits, and technical roundtables).
  • Manage all event logistics, from scheduling and promotion to on-site execution.
  • Prepare and coordinate cross-functional participants (engineering leaders, alumni, and recruiters) for campus visits.

Alumni & Fellowship Programs
  • Activate and maintain Anduril's internal alumni networks to support campus outreach.
  • Administer and support the execution of fellowship, scholarship, and student ambassador programs.
  • Deliver structured programs that build Anduril's brand awareness among high-performing students.

Partnership Coordination
  • Support the coordination of research collaborations and innovation partnerships on campus.
  • Implement scalable processes to capture student interest and seamlessly transition campus leads into the recruiting pipeline.

Measurement & Operational Excellence
  • Track and report on engagement metrics, event ROI, and pipeline conversion.
  • Maintain and update repeatable playbooks and templates for campus engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize event workflows and improve the student experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, university relations, campus recruiting, event management, or program coordination (preferably in a technology or high-growth environment).
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with student organizations, academic departments, or technical communities.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple event timelines simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel during peak campus seasons.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with engineering campus ecosystems (robotics, hardware, autonomy, etc.).
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working directly with students and academic stakeholders.
  • Data-conscious approach to tracking event success and candidate engagement.
  • Highly collaborative team player who can easily partner with internal engineering and recruiting teams.
