Job description

We are seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven University Recruiting Coordinator to help deliver an exceptional experience for students, interns, recent graduates, hiring managers, and campus partners. This role serves as a critical member of the University Recruiting team, supporting the full lifecycle of campus recruiting programs and early-career talent initiatives.

This position sits at the intersection of recruiting, onboarding, and event management, combining the relationship-building skills of a recruiter, the operational excellence of an onboarding coordinator, and the organizational expertise of an event planner. From campus engagement to intern onboarding and program events, this role helps create a seamless and engaging experience for emerging talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process of intern and graduate hires for assigned lines of business, including sourcing, candidate management, resume reviews, phone screens, offer negotiations, and developing effective relationships with HR and hiring managers
  • Be a career fair & brand ambassador - you will be required to travel for seasonal recruiting events, manage preparation and set up logistics, and engage with students and organizations while representing the NXP brand
  • Coordinate onboarding and pre-hire activities for interns and early-career hires, serving as a primary point of contact from offer acceptance to day one, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal intern and graduate hire events, including regular quarterly activities and weekly engagements during the summer for up to 6 US locations
  • Maintain accurate candidate details within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide regular, data-driven status updates on the progress of assigned requisitions, hires, and projects

Qualifications

  • Recent Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or similar
  • Up to 2 years of work experience, including internships
  • Must be willing to travel for seasonal recruiting events, some of which occasionally occur on weekends (typically October-November, subject to change)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Mindset of taking initiative and ownership to drive results and solve issues
  • Comfortability and proven success with public speaking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Workday (preferred)
  • Experience planning and coordinating large-scale events (preferred)

Location: Austin, TX
Work Type: Hybrid (3 days required onsite per week)
