Job description

) Tonganoxie Terrace is actively hiring a Unit Manager Nurse (LPN/RN) to oversee clinical care, staff performance, and daily operations on an assigned unit. The Unit Manager Nurse plays a critical role in care coordination, staff accountability, regulatory compliance, and resident outcomes. As a Unit Manager Nurse, you will partner closely with interdisciplinary teams and nursing leadership to support high-quality resident care and daily clinical operations.

Schedule and Employment Type
  • Full-Time Days (6AM - 6PM) | On-call rotation required

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee unit-level nursing operations as the Unit Manager Nurse
  • Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to care plans, documentation standards, and clinical protocols
  • Monitor resident conditions and address clinical concerns proactively
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning and communication between departments
  • Support staff coaching, accountability, performance improvement, and development
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility clinical policies and procedures
  • Assist with MDS processes and resident care coordination
  • Provide leadership and support during assigned shifts and on-call coverage
