How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Ensure a seamless workflow for the unit by managing administrative tasks, communication, and patient records.
  • Managing patient and visitor communication, handling telephone calls, mail, and other general clerical duties.
  • Accurately scheduling patient appointments and procedures, and communicating about patient care with physicians and nursing staff.
  • Assembling and maintaining patient charts, providing administrative and technical assistance with clinical processes like order entry, patient transfers, and discharges.
  • Coordinating meetings, maintaining meeting minutes, and managing staff-related administrative tasks like timekeeping and scheduling changes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. 

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
