Summary:
The purpose of the internship is to introduce students to the fundamentals of healthcare administration through meaningful, hands-on experiences. The intern will observe, conduct research, analyze data, develop reports, make recommendations, and assist in improving services. 

Responsibilities:

1. Communication- Uses appropriate methods to clearly convey information to others in an engaging way, which helps others understand and retain the message.
2. Collaboration- Works with others respectfully and openly; provides help to achieve shared goals.
3. Service- Anticipates and meets or exceeds all patient/customer needs and pro-actively takes responsibility for ensuring their quality care experiences.
4. Accountability- Takes ownership for goals and outcomes; effectively and efficiently uses available resources to successfully complete tasks.
5. Improvement- Identifies opportunities and takes actions to continuously improve processes. Maintains effectiveness and flexibility during change. 


**Notes:

The intern must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have completed at least one year.

A one-page letter of intent must be submitted with the application describing the candidate's professional interests, background, and what they hope to achieve from the internship.

The dates for this role will be May 18-August 7, 2026.
