RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer in the Miami or Dallas area.
Summary:
The Senior Salesforce Developer will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for the design, development, and support of scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and technical best practices. This role sits above mid-level and below lead/principal, ideal for a highly experienced developer who prefers hands-on delivery while mentoring others.
Responsibilities include leading technical design discussions, building custom Salesforce solutions, identifying and mitigating design risks, and ensuring solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards.
The Developer will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to implement solutions across the Salesforce platform. This role also includes mentoring junior developers, contributing to testing strategies and automation, supporting production issues, and continuously improving development practices. The ideal candidate is highly curious, committed to continuous learning, and engaged with modern Salesforce tooling, certifications, and emerging technologies such as agentic and AI-assisted development.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification required
* 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
* Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Aura, and LWC
* Deep understanding of Salesforce platform best practices, security model, and governor limits
* Experience designing scalable, secure Salesforce architectures
* Strong proficiency with Flows, object configuration, validation rules, and App Builder
* Experience with SOQL, SOSL, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
* Familiarity with Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and modern Salesforce development lifecycle tools
* Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
* Ability to independently own technical solutions while collaborating cross-functionally
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
