Job Summary:
AgeWell Services is a private 501 (c)(3) nonprofit providing services to those aged 60 and over in Muskegon, Oceana, and Ottawa counties. We are in search of a Meals on Wheels Tray Line candidate who will provide service of prepared foods into trays for our hot delivered meal routes. Help us help the most vulnerable seniors in our community by assisting in the process of delivering nutritious meals. The Tray Line position is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 4 hours in the morning, typically 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Ensure line is ready for meals by 8am. This includes proper set up, pans, sanitizer buckets and serving utensils.
  • Ensure food is of good quality and communicate quickly with management if there are concerns.
  • Continually talk with Line Lead to set the pace for the days line operations to ensure food is properly packed per route using time control methods per state regulations.
  • Motivate and encourage other team members on the line.
  • Continuously communicate with cooks on line needs.
  • Ensure side items (cups) are done daily in conjunction with menu.
  • Ensure proper frozen meals are ran daily and are of good quality.
  • All other tasks as delegated by management.
