The Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize travel policies and enhance service delivery while maintaining accountability and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Strong financial planning and customer service skills are essential to support seamless travel experiences and vendor performance. This position requires proven management capabilities to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the travel function.
About the team:
The team supports Procurement and Travel Operations, focusing on maximizing savings and value for Walmart Global Enterprise. It collaborates with leading travel suppliers, applying strategic sourcing and negotiation to secure optimal contracts. Engaging with global suppliers and internal stakeholders, the team develops and executes comprehensive supplier strategies. Reporting to senior leadership, it drives cost efficiencies and risk mitigation while maintaining strong supplier relationships. This group plays a key role in advancing operational excellence and supporting Walmart’s success through data-driven insights and strategic partnership management.
What you'll do:
  • Oversee corporate travel programs to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize travel services and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align travel strategies with business objectives.
