What is a Travel Monitor Tech?

A Travel Monitor Tech, or Travel Monitor Technician, is a healthcare professional who travels to different medical facilities to monitor and maintain patient monitoring equipment such as ECGs, heart rate monitors, and other telemetry devices. They ensure the proper functioning of monitoring systems, assist with setup, and may also train staff on equipment use. These technicians play a vital role in patient care by helping detect and respond to critical changes in patients’ conditions.
