Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Lead Telemetry Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality care by continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and alerting the care team when action is needed. As a trusted expert and mentor, you'll help train and guide others - building confidence, strengthening skills, and supporting a team that's committed to improving human life - one heartbeat at a time.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring, interpreting, and documenting cardiac rhythms, and alerting nurses immediately to changes that may impact patient care
  • Managing telemetry setup, lead placement, equipment upkeep, and inventory to ensure continuous, accurate monitoring
  • Preparing and analyzing rhythm strips, updating logs, and maintaining patient monitoring records in line with hospital policies
  • Guiding and mentoring telemetry staff by leading training, onboarding, and sharing updates on new tools or processes
  • Enhancing patient safety by clearly communicating changes in rhythm, alarms, or signal issues
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
