Base Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 + Uncapped Residual Commission

Position Summary

The Transportation Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing transportation revenue through strategic prospecting, relationship-building, and customer acquisition efforts.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys hunting for new business, building a customer portfolio, and creating long-term revenue growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Identify customer transportation and logistics needs and present customized solutions.
  • Conduct sales presentations, customer meetings, and business development activities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure successful execution of services.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and customer records within CRM systems.
  • Stay informed on transportation market trends and industry developments.
  • Consistently achieve sales goals and business development objectives.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional sales experience preferred.
  • Transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, supply chain, or B2B sales experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience prospecting and generating new business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
