Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a safe work environment by ensuring full compliance with all safety regulations, housekeeping standards, maintenance initiatives, and company policies in partnership with EHS and Facilities Operations & Support teams
  • Lead daily plant operations and workforce planning to achieve production goals through effective labor allocation, scheduling, overtime management, and team leadership
  • Manage plant financial performance, including gross margin analysis, cost controls, inventory management, productivity metrics, and time study calculations
  • Oversee inbound and outbound freight operations to optimize transportation efficiency and reduce cost per ton
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiencies, and process improvements across all plant functions
  • Lead maintenance operations and coordinate weekly maintenance meetings to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
  • Oversee project management efforts, including facility upgrades, operational improvements, and capital-related initiatives
  • Manage and maintain key operational systems, including KPA and Stampli PO systems
  • Conduct performance evaluations and administer annual compensation reviews aligned with company and employee performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive alignment, profitability, and business growth
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence throughout the operation
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience
  • Proven leadership with a cross-functional team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with LMS or other operational software systems
  • Some limited travel required
