As an Inside Sales Specialist at DSV Air & Sea, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial growth of our business. You will manage and develop existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities in the market, and proactively generate qualified leads for our sales team. Acting as a vital link between customers, Operations, Pricing, Customer Service, and Sales, you will help deliver tailored logistics solutions while contributing to DSV's ambitious growth objectives.

Tasks:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers;
  • Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within your customer portfolio;
  • Proactively prospect through telephone, email, LinkedIn, and other commercial channels;
  • Identify and approach potential customers within the Air & Sea market;
  • Generate, qualify, and transfer high‑quality leads to the Sales team;
  • Prepare, follow up, and negotiate quotations for air freight and ocean freight services;
  • Support the field sales team during commercial opportunities and customer visits;
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives;
  • Analyze customer needs and recommend suitable logistics solutions;
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Pricing, and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent service delivery;
  • Accurately maintain customer information, opportunities, quotations, and activities in Microsoft Dynamics;
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities;
  • Contribute to achieving revenue, margin, and growth targets.

You bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of thinking and working, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Commercial Economics, or a related field;
  • Previous experience in a commercial or sales role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry is a strong advantage;
  • Experience in prospecting, lead generation, and business development is highly desirable;
  • Knowledge of air freight and/or ocean freight operations;
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
