Position Summary
The Payment Transfer Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily Treasury Operations activities, including Federal Reserve processing, cash management, payment operations, reconciliations, and related operational controls. This role serves as a Fedline Operator and provides operational support for Treasury payment and funding activities while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal procedures.
Summary Essential Job Functions
  • Process inbound and outbound Federal Reserve transactions, including ACH and Fedwire transmissions.
  • Perform daily Fed funds and correspondent banking transactions, balancing, and related reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process Treasury Operations journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and transmit weekly electronic cash deposits.
  • Monitor and analyze the Bankโ€™s daily cash position and liquidity activity.
  • Perform daily payment wire reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Support facility advances and paydown requests to maintain adequate borrowing capacity.
  • Process and reconcile monthly facility interest payments.
  • Support maintaining and reconciling unclaimed property records and related activity.
  • Ensure compliance with month-end close schedules for all cash-related reconciliations, journal entries, and Treasury processes.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, including documentation gathering and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Audit, Finance, Compliance, and other departments to fulfill operational and reporting requests.
Position Requirements
  • Associate degree required; Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent recent Treasury Operations experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Minimum of 2 - 6 years of relevant Treasury Operations, banking operations, payments, or cash management experience preferred.
  • MS Excel knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and changing priorities.
