Job description

Transaction Coordinator

Orlando, Florida, United States

Orchard's mission is to make home buying and selling stress free, fair and simple. For the average American, the home purchase and sale process takes months, creates anxiety, and is filled with uncertainty and hassle. Orchard has reimagined the end-to-end experience of buying and selling, from innovative home search tools to find the perfect home to the ability to buy a new home before selling your current one. Orchard customers manage the entire experience through a personalized online dashboard, while also getting the support of best-in-class Orchard real estate agents. Headquartered in New York City with teammates across the US, Orchard has 150+ full time employees and 600+ real estate agents. We have financing from top-tier investors including Revolution Growth, Firstmark, Accomplice, Navitas and Juxtapose, who have also backed the likes of Pinterest, AirBnb, Shopify and Sweetgreen. We're proud to have been recognized by Crain's, Inc. 5000, Glassdoor, Parity.org and Built In on their lists of best places to work.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Transaction Coordinator to join our real estate operations team. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact across a portfolio of active transactions, supporting agents and coordinating all parties — from executed contract through closing. You'll work closely with buyers, sellers, lenders, title companies, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless home buying and selling experience for our customers. This is a full-time remote position reporting to the Transaction Operations Manager.

What You'll Do Here:

• Manage time-sensitive transaction tasks from executed contract to close, maintaining a consistent focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience at every stage. • Serve as a liaison between buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other transaction stakeholders to ensure a seamless process. • Coordinate closings with title companies and lenders, ensuring all required documentation is collected and accurate, and that closings are recorded in a timely manner. • Draft MLS listings and verify that all required documentation is received and accurate prior to listing properties. • Ensure contract documents and amendments meet regional and transaction-specific compliance requirements. • Monitor transaction progress and proactively address issues as they arise. • Maintain accurate, well-organized transaction files and records throughout the lifecycle of each deal. • Deliver consistent, professional communication and service to all parties involved in a transaction.

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:

• At least 2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction coordination role or other relevant operations experience. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions at varying stages of the process. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with experience maintaining accurate and complete transaction records. • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable coordinating with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and title representatives. • Proficiency with real estate software and MLS systems. • Working knowledge of regional real estate regulations and compliance requirements. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying closely aligned with a broader team. • Active Real Estate license in Florida is required

Orchard is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We provide employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable law.
