Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Transaction Coordinator to support the full lifecycle of acquisitions, divestitures, and related commercial transactions. This role sits at the intersection of legal, land, operations, and business development, and supports disciplined execution from diligence launch through closing and post-closing integration. The ideal candidate brings a working knowledge of upstream oil and gas processes and strong workflow management skills. You will serve as a central liaison between internal departments and the counterparty, ensuring accurate information flow, preparing closing packages, driving timely review and preparation of deliverables, and supporting the orderly transition of assets to internal operations post-closing.

General Responsibilities

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to execute the successful integration or divestiture of assets, with a clear understanding of the administrative requirements necessary to effectuate a transaction and integrate assets into a company.

  • Coordinate with Accounting, Land, Land Administration, Regulatory, and Operations to execute a smooth transition, including change-of-operator filings, ownership and production reporting updates, vendor onboarding, accounting setup, and facility integration.

  • Track and monitor documents, workflows, weekly calls, and processes for each transaction to leverage support for specific items in an efficient manner.

  • Provide regular updates to the counterparty and internal departments to ensure successful integration and transparency throughout the process. Monitor transaction timelines and deadlines.

  • Maintain organized transaction records and databases throughout the transaction lifecycle, including managing electronic document databases and providing files to be relied upon internally.

  • Assist with the preparation and organization of schedules and exhibits, closing documents, governmental filings, and land transfer documentation.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in land, legal, business development or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage shifting priorities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues and escalate when necessary.
