Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Program Assistant for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:

This role will regularly engage with the Director and Program Manager of the Israel Innovation Project and will function as administrative support to ensure core program functions. This role will support faculty and staff with processing expense reports, payment requests, calendar management, and email communications. Additionally, this role will assist with events (virtual and in-person), including managing promotions, tech support, and post-event logistics.

The Israel Innovation Project's (IIP) mission is to advance Northwestern's technological and scientific partnerships with Israeli institutions of higher learning through collaborative research, global educational initiatives, innovative business ventures, and public engagement. IIP's role is to create long-lasting relationships that will expand opportunities for faculty, researchers, students, and partners, to team up with counterparts in Israel.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with Canvas and NU Financials is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • One year experience in a communication, business administration, data management, or administrative support role
  • Project management skills and demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
