Job description

Homewatch CareGivers of Germantown is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to grow our referral network and strengthen trusted relationships throughout our local communities.

This is a field-based growth role—not a desk-only marketing position. You will spend most of your time developing new business in the community, building relationships with referral partners, representing Homewatch CareGivers professionally, and helping families connect with the home care services they need.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain referral partnerships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, case managers, hospices, senior communities, social workers, physicians, and community organizations
  • Conduct regular field visits, relationship-building meetings, presentations, networking events, health fairs, lunch-and-learns, and community outreach
  • Identify and develop new referral opportunities for private-duty home care services
  • Generate qualified referrals and collaborate with our office team to support a smooth admissions process
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, follow-up records, referral information, and KPI reporting
  • Represent Homewatch CareGivers with professionalism, empathy, initiative, and accountability
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • A self-starter who is organized, reliable, comfortable working in the field, and motivated by measurable growth goals
  • Business development, healthcare, home care, senior living, referral marketing, community outreach, or sales experience is strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active automobile insurance
  • Digital marketing or social media experience is a plus but not required; the primary focus of this position is community partnership development and field outreach
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $60,000–$75,000, based on experience
  • First-year earning potential of $90,000+ when growth expectations are achieved
  • Uncapped monthly growth commission of $1 per verified service hour above the agency’s established baseline
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Company benefits
What We Provide
  • Comprehensive sales training, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development
  • Active, hands-on support from ownership, including regular collaboration, guidance, and help developing and closing new business opportunities
  • Company-provided laptop, mobile phone, email account, CRM, and reporting tools
  • Marketing materials, business cards, and branded resources to support prospecting and relationship development
  • A growth-focused position with opportunities for advancement in business development and community partnerships
Service Area

This field-based position serves Germantown, Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village, Clarksburg, Damascus, Boyds, Poolesville, Woodbine, Mount Airy, Dickerson, Barnesville, and surrounding communities.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of business development for a growing home care agency and build meaningful relationships throughout the community.
