We offer operating and finance leasing as well as direct financing to our commercial customers. Crossroads has experienced dynamic growth, expanding our portfolio and developing relationships with transportation companies that have locations outside the state of California, expanding our finance products to all states to service these customers.

What You'll Do:
The Business Development Manager defines short and long-term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates, and closes business deals, maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions, and manages existing client relationships to ensure they stay positive and satisfied. The BDM is an outside role and will be partnered with an Inside Sales Manager.
The Business Development Manager is an outside of the office role. The BDM will be responsible with identifying, prospecting, and signing new dealer and end user relationships for the Work Truck Group. This individual will be partnered with an Inside Sales Manager who will focus on deal management. The BDM will also be responsible for expanding the relationship within the dealerships and creating a network of contacts within each location. The BDM will perform regular business reviews with the dealers and look for opportunities to grow and improve.
Job Duties:
  • Prospects for new clients by networking, advertising, cold calling, and other means of generating interest from potential clients, both vendor and direct.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Attends industry functions, such as association events and conferences to establish new and maintain current relationships with clients for future business
  • Develops rapport with new clients; builds key customer relationships and continues to grow business in the future through regular meetings and reviews
  • Grows and retains existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services offered to clients
  • Develops a robust pipeline of transactions
  • Provides support that continually improves the customer relationship
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing deal requirements and financials
  • Increases sales opportunities and thereby maximizes revenue for the organization
  • Works with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Identifies opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • B.A. preferred
  • Minimum of four or five (3-5) years of experience
  • Excellent business sense. Excellent Interpersonal skills, communication skills, negotiation skills and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effectively reacts to management requirements in a timely manner

Compensation:
  • $120,000-$150,000 annual salary depending on experience + Commission
