Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private 118 bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults. We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence-based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere.

We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. The Training & Development Coordinator will w ork in collaboration with the Salt Lake Behavioral Health Executive Leadership team to develop and maintain a system of training and development that ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory entities, provides high quality training services to employees, and supports and strengthens employees' professional development. The Training & Development Coordinator coordinates all training related activities and presents training to all employees on company policies and procedures, new hire orientation, core philosophies, first aid, CPR, safety & emergency procedures, verbal de-escalation, physical interventions, etc.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years experience in training, compliance, and professional development.
  • Certifications Required: Handle with Care Trainer, Verbal De-escalation Trainer, AED/CPR/First Aid Trainer, Service Excellence Facilitator
  • Additional Requirements: Handle with Care Master Trainer (preferred), Verbal De-escalation Master Trainer (preferred)
