We currently have an opportunity for a Training Supervisor at our Manufacturing Facility in Lewiston, UT.

Responsibilities

The Training Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving employee learning and development programs that support operational excellence, workforce capability, and business performance. This role partners with leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs, design learning solutions, facilitate training programs, and measure training effectiveness. The Training Supervisor ensures employees receive the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to perform safely, effectively, and successfully throughout their careers while maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead the planning, coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of employee training and development programs.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs to support a successful transition into the organization.
  • Develop annual training plans aligned with business objectives, workforce development priorities, and operational needs.
  • Assess organizational, departmental, and individual training needs through collaboration with leaders and analysis of performance trends.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging instructor-led, hands-on, and blended learning programs in partnership with internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using assessments, observations, and performance data; recommend improvements to maximize learning outcomes.
  • Audit trainers and training processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to established standards while providing coaching and developmental feedback.
  • Maintain training documentation, curricula, work instructions, and learning materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility.
  • Track employee training completion, certifications, and qualification records while following up on outstanding requirements.
  • Research and implement new learning methodologies, technologies, and development resources that enhance employee engagement and organizational capability.
  • Partner with operations, human resources, safety, quality, and functional leaders to support workforce development initiatives and career progression.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, safety, compliance, and employee development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in training and development
  • Experience leading employee training, learning and development, onboarding, or workforce development programs.
  • Experience facilitating instructor-led training and presenting to diverse employee audiences.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methods.
  • Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate training documentation and records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and learning management or training tracking systems.

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments.
  • Experience supporting Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Operations functions.
  • Experience developing training curricula and competency-based learning programs.
  • Bilingual communication skills.
