Job description

Position Summary

Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB and multiple award-winning organization, delivers innovative solutions for complex, mission-critical federal programs., delivers innovative solutions for complex, mission-critical federal programs. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lead Training Developer to lead the analysis, design, revision, and development of Operational Contract Support (OCS) training and education products for the Total Force. Located on-site at Fort Lee, VA, this senior-level role supports the US Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM), TRADOC Proponent Office for Operational Contract Support (TPO-OCS).

The successful candidate will act as the principal architect for OCS curriculum management, driving the ADDIE process and ensuring strict corporate and instructional compliance with TRADOC Regulation 350-70 and TRADOC PAM 350-70-series standards. This position requires an expert capable of managing rigorous annual deliverable cycles, spearheading critical task boards under compressed timelines, and supervising enterprise data entry into TD2 and TRIMIS.

This position is located on-site at Ft Lee VA, requires an Active Secret Clearance and is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive reviews of all OCS-related tasks, products, doctrine, and policy. Author and deliver authoritative recommendation memorandums for training product revisions directly to the COR and OCS Division Chief.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the annual Critical Task and Site Selection Board (CTSSB). Finalize high-priority Critical Task and Learning Requirement Lists, and ensure the flawless technical delivery of board minutes no later than 2 working days post-completion.
  • Direct separate annual analyses for complex individual and collective tasks, generating prioritized milestone schedules and development memorandums for OCS Division Chief approval.
  • Design, develop, and modernize OCS individual and collective training products, including Interactive Media Instruction and advanced Distance Learning options. Architect product delivery schedules optimized against Estimated Time Values and Government priorities.
  • Serve as the lead reviewer for Army Logistics University OCS Course training products ensuring currency, legal sufficiency, and direct routing of critical updates through the COR to Course Instructors.
  • Oversee the collection of historical achievements and project future operational workload requirements. Serve as the subject matter expert for the optimization and maintenance of training data using TD2 and TRIMIS.
Qualifications
  • An active SECRET clearance is required.
  • Minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s degree.
  • Minimum of 6 yearsโ€™ experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Pro.
  • Minimum of 6 yearsโ€™ of increasing experience in military training development, preferably Army training development with processes and products identified in TRADOC Reg 350-70-1.
  • Experience in developing training products or attending training on using Articulate Storyline 360.
  • Experience in Operational Contract Support is desired.
Additional Requirements
  • Mastery-level proficiency using TD2 and TRIMIS to build, maintain, and audit complex enterprise training architectures.
  • Ability to work on-site at Fort Lee, VA.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated compensation range for this position is between $80,000 and $92,000 annually. Actual salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidateโ€™s specialized skills, certifications, and years of experience.
