Job description

Position Summary

Ninety percent of a child's brain development happens before the age of 5, and we're on a mission to help our youngest learners start strong!ย ย ย 

Join Early Learning Corps as an Early Learning Tutor and you'll spend your days in a pre-kindergarten classroom to help students build skills and confidence. We'll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!ย 

How does it work? Partnering with a teacher, you'll help enhance learning. Whether talking, reading, writing, singing, or playing with students, you'll be helping them to build early literacy and math skills.ย ย With the extra attention and support, you'll make an incredible impact and help ignite a love of learning!ย

Core Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

By the time you begin your services with Early Learning Corps, you should be:

  • Dependable and have a history of good attendance
  • Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
  • Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
  • 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
  • Able to successfully complete a background check

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year.ย Positions run August 2026-June 2027.

  • 35 hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)
  • Daytime hours (correspond with school start and end times)
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Time off on holidays and school release days

Part-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!
