Job description

The Fulfillment Center Learning Manager (LM) is an active member of the FC's Leadership Team, driving and supporting site performance and network initiatives. The Learning Manager actively manages a team of training specialists including their development and overall productivity. The LM must ensure the work of the team is aligned to meet internal customer needs. By partnering with operations, building support teams, Senior Leadership and external customers such as ACES, PE Field Team and Business Partners, LM's drive positive impacts on the key business metrics including safety, quality, productivity and customer experience. The Learning Manager oversees the day to day operations of the learning organization within the Fulfillment Center including, but not limited to, associate and manager onboarding/training and compliance with policies, procedures and standards.
Key job responsibilities
- Maintains safety and compliance training, ensuring targeted safety metrics are achieved or exceeded
- Manages their department to established Benchmark standards, auditing and implementing actions to sustain and improve department performance.
- Sets and communicates goals and objectives across multiple teams including Finance, Operations, Support and Business Partners.
- Effectively contributes to the operational strategy, including both financial and learning inputs/outputs.
- Uses available data and tools to analyze and construct strategic plans which maintain and/or improve performance.
- Is a Continuous Improvement SME.
- Ensures processes and changes are communicated and that teams are prepared for implementation and adoption.
- Simplifies complex information to construct executable plans.
- Effectively composes verbal and written communication and identifies the appropriate forum for each.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of learning design, learning science, instructional design, educational psychology, or similar field experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree in related field
- Resume that shows steady progression in Training/Learning Management for the last 5+ years
- Experience in managing an operation leading process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen and Six Sigma principles
