  • Experience in antenatal and postpartum environments preferred
  • Ability to float between antenatal, postpartum, and newborn units as needed (OB Float Pool)
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate postpartum care to mothers and newborns as a postpartum RN and travel nurse
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for postpartum and newborn patients
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and newborn outcomes
  • Float to antenatal or postpartum units based on facility needs within the OB Float Pool
