As an Insurance Sales Trainee with Asa Smith Agency, you will play a crucial role in advising and supporting our clients in choosing the best insurance solutions tailored to their individual needs. You will be responsible for selling a variety of insurance policies, primarily focusing on auto, home, business, and life insurance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining regular contact with clients and ensuring their inquiries and insurance needs are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments to offer clients customized insurance packages.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest insurance products and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop new sales techniques and enhance client engagement.
  • Document and maintain all client interactions and transactions, ensuring that all client information is kept confidential and secure.
Requirements
  • Must be a Michigan resident.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
  • We will cover licensing costs once producer license is secured (must be within first 30 days of employment)
