THE JOB:
The Stewarding Assistant Manager leads the stewarding operations, ensuring seamless back-of-house support for our food and beverage outlets while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Oversee daily stewarding operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas
  • Manage and train stewarding staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Coordinate with vendors and departments to ensure proper supplies and equipment are available
  • Assist with scheduling, labor relations, and operational problem-solving

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be at least 18 years or older and able to obtain required licensing through the New York State Gaming Commission
  • At least 2 years of prior relevant experience including stewarding within the hotel or casino industry
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, materials, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in a union environment and Spanish fluency are a plus

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is:
$67,200.00 - $112,000.00
This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan.
