Why We Need You

The Stewardship Manager is responsible for designing and executing donor stewardship strategies that ensure meaningful engagement, recognition, and retention of donors. This role ensures that donors receive timely, accurate, and compelling communications that demonstrate the impact of their support and strengthen long-term relationships with the Museum.

What You'll Accomplish

Donor Stewardship Strategy & Execution

  • Develops and implements stewardship plans across donor segments and giving levels
  • Ensures consistent, high-quality donor acknowledgment and recognition practices
  • Manages donor reporting processes, including impact reports and updates

Donor Communications & Engagement

  • Oversees development of donor-facing materials, including reports, letters, and impact
  • communications

  • Ensures messaging aligns with institutional priorities and donor expectations

Stewardship Operations & Tracking

  • Maintains systems to track donor engagement, recognition, and reporting requirements
  • Ensures fulfillment of donor agreements and reporting commitments
  • Monitors timelines and workflows to ensure timely delivery of stewardship activities

Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Tracks and analyzes stewardship effectiveness and donor retention trends
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance donor experience and engagement strategies
  • Oversees financial stewardship activities, including endowment reporting, donor fund stewardship, tax acknowledgment processes, and coordination with Finance to ensure accurate stewardship records and compliance with donor intent.

$80,000—$88,000 USD
