Tour Assistant Overview:
We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Tour Assistant who can support our growing touring department. As a Tour Assistant, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities amp; Duties:
  • Provide high level of assistance to touring department in all aspects of the management of client travel requirements
  • Develop competency to achieve high levels of sales, transactions, and margins. Regularly check benchmarks, activity reports, and KPI’s to ensure performance achievements match the projected plan
  • Respond to all communications and correspondence proactively, promptly, efficiently and accurately
  • Input data on movement sheets with accuracy as requested
  • Chase client folios and invoices from suppliers
  • Process credit card payment authorizations accurately as requested
  • Add transaction and service fees accurately to Majic files to charge out as necessary
  • Handle all delegated tasks within the given timeframe and communicate with members of the team to ensure thorough understanding of given tasks. Accurately and efficiently field all enquiries and requests from the team
  • Ensure TAG Touring procedures are followed at all times
  • Report and investigate errors or client complaints to seek satisfactory resolution
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • AA/AS or BS/BA degree (Preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in corporate environment (Required)
  • Travel Industry experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment, to work in a pressurized and demanding environment, to work to agreed deadlines and be able to prioritize workload
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Ability to accept instructions or directions and see through to completion
  • Ability to multitask
