As an Inside Sales Representative you will seek out new customers and partner with existing ones, offering targeted products designed to improve their businesses, using a consultative sales approach.

+     Sell the full line of office supplies to established customers and potential customers while providing excellent customer service in a moral and ethical manner.

+     Properly maintain equipment and inventory in your possession.

+     Turn in sales orders promptly, completed, and properly signed.

+     Work with the President to create a weekly action plan

+     Market within territory by phone and in person as called for.

+     Ensure that all customer purchases are received in satisfactory condition.

+     Periodically contact each customer to ensure satisfaction and to receive referrals.

+     Work with collections department, if needed, to assist with customer payments.

+     Set appointments for the sales team into Targeted Accounts

+     Make new business calls in an adequate number for potential buyers to secure appointments with the proper decision-making individuals. 

+     Send emails, mail, and LinkedIn communications

+     Spend time researching targeted accounts

+     Maintain records on potential buyers, their current needs, and call back dates after each business call.

+     Assisting the President in the QBR process for current customers

+     Update notes and follow up in Sherpa

+     Work with all departmental managers relative to personnel and customer needs analysis.

+     Support co-workers.

+     Gain additional training on own time as well as attending company sponsored programs and seminars.


Required:

+       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+       Concentration, speed and accuracy to handle paperwork expeditiously are a must.

+       High level of confidentiality.

+       Customer service oriented.

+       Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills.

+       Positive businesslike behavior and appearance.

+       Ability and willingness to travel โ€“ 5%.

+       Proactive sense of urgency to take initiative.

+       Positive attitude towards co-workers and customers.

+      

Preferred:

+       1-2 years of prior Inside Sales experience

+       High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

+       Strong organizational skills

+       Basic computer skills (CRM, Outlook, MS Word and Excel, Internet Searching)
