  • VDA 6.3 Consultant

  • Location: US
    • Lead and conduct VDA 6.3 process audits across manufacturing and supplier operations
    • Support OEMs and Tier suppliers with audit preparation, gap assessments, and corrective actions
    • Identify process risks, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities within production and quality systems
    • Collaborate with plant leadership, quality, engineering, and supplier teams to drive compliance and operational improvements
    • Assist with root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and customer requirement alignment
    • Provide consulting support for launch readiness, manufacturing process optimization, and quality system improvements

    Requirements
    • Certified or experienced in VDA 6.3 Process Auditing
    • Strong background in automotive manufacturing, quality, or supplier quality engineering
    • Knowledge of IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), and OEM standards
    • Experience supporting Tier 1/2/3 suppliers and OEM automotive environments
    • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
